What is a bond yield?
It is the yearly interest a government pays when it borrows money by selling bonds. A higher yield means borrowing costs more. When yields go up, the price of bonds people already hold goes down, and the other way round. "10Y" means a 10-year bond. "%p" (percentage points) is a plain difference between two rates: 4.2% vs 3.2% is 1%p.

Short = 2-year bond (Korea: 3-year, UK: 5-year - the shortest official series available free). Changes are in percentage points (pp). "vs Korea" = Korea 10Y minus that country's 10Y; for monthly countries it uses Korea's average of the same month. Click a column header to sort.

Sources and licences
All numbers come straight from the official publishers below, unchanged; spreads and changes are our own arithmetic. Daily data are refreshed several times a day (each source publishes once per business day in its own time zone). China has no free daily official source we may republish (ChinaBond curves are licensed), so China uses the OECD monthly long-term rate. Monthly long-term rates follow the OECD/ECB definition and can differ slightly from market 10-year quotes.
